Heartland Cafe welcomes you to their establishment. You can even enjoy the sunshine on their terrace. They are open late from Tuesday to Sunday and are readily reachable by public transit. Come visit them in a neighborhood known as lush.
We went in to check it out and were really impressed with everything we ordered especially the ozo muscles. The only negative comment I could make concerns communication. The waitress failed to mention that the featured special was $30 where as most menu items were about $15. The special was just fish, not caviar.
Excellent food, atmosphere, prices.
Very very good value and right downtown Okotoks.
We made the trip to eat at Divine, but noticed the Heartland sign on the building next door, so we walked in to find the most wonderfull, in an old Church restaurant you could ever discover. It turns out that they have locations in Calgary.
Housed in a lovely converted church on Olde Towne Okotoks Plaza in (you guessed it) Okotoks, Heartland Café serves rich comfort dishes made with local ingredients. Canadian cuisine with international touches, Heartland appetizers include Cajun fish tacos and Tuscan flatbread and mains such as smoky bacon bison meatloaf, pan-seared salmon and braised ’n’ glazed back ribs. All are served with your choice of soup or salad.
