I just moved back to Penticton 8 months ago after living on the lower mainland for 4 years. Ginza is better than, roughly 15 which is not alot in such a large area but enough to write this review, all of the Japanese restaraunts I sampled sushi at on the lower mainland. All ingredients are fresh and nicely presented. Some of the dishes I sampled were new to me and some I had never seen on a menu before and this also had a part in me wanting to return.
I will gladly pay more for qaulity sashimi and other seafood delights this far inland when they are prepared this well.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and very polite.....but Ginza is understaffed. Whether it is wait staff or kitchen staff, I could not quite tell and it may be both. The wait time to be seated was close to 10 minutes on 2 occassions and the dinning area was not full.
Overall it was 4.75 stars in my experience.
