one of my best meals..EVER

had been to Davidson's a few years back, and loved it, so I took my mother for her birthday. I ordered one of the specials of the evening, and was not disapointed!! No lie-it has to be in the top 5 meals I have ever eaten. Only flaw I could find was the limited wine list, but otherwise, I love the "cottagey" decor, and the service was great. I hope when all the developing in that area is finished, they can still maintain they same quality and atmosphere, without having to cater to all the newbies that will flock to the area, and who may be expecting something else.

Far out of the way, but far out!

This is a great little restaurant!! It's out in the middle of nowhere but worth the drive! The service and food are very mom and pop, comfortable with healthy portions. The restaurant itself is a little dated, cosmetically, but it kind of adds to the experience. You MUST have the coconut cream pie!

Very beautiful place to have dinner. Cozy, quiet and great customer service. we ate delicious food, the food comes out hot, right out of the kitchen, very clean, good amount of food on your plate, the waitress is a wonderful and friendly person. Their desserts are wonderful and their deep fried mashed potatoes ball is so goooood. Will recommend this to anyone, we go for every ocassion we can think of and sometimes for no reason at all.

Cozy atmosphere, especially in the winter. Friendly waitresses. Good, inventive cook. Limited wine list. The place to go with your partner. Casual cottage feel. Menu has a little of everything. Never been disappointed in 15 years. (Except that they took the lamb off the regular menu.) Nightly specials get that extra effort. Closed Mondays.
