I had been to JJ Japanese Thai beforehand and was never disappointed. This was my third visit and I was more than pleased. The restaurant was nicely decorated with beautiful table linens, wall decorations, and pillows. The servers were kind and attentive. Our server, whose name was Alina, was so kind and friendly, she asked us if there was anything we needed on a consistent basis and also provided free ice cream for being such great customers! Took my family here for mother's day and it was very busy! We walked in and wrote gave our names and got a table within 5 minutes. After trying the food I can tell why there were so many customers, the food is mouth-watering! Definitely the best Indian food in the GTA. Won't be going to bras or tandoori flame again. I could tell they were hustling to work as quickly as possible, which can be appreciated in such a busy time. Very clean place, elegant decor. Will be coming back again next week! Read more

I have been to Bombay on the Lake a couple of times and I highly recommend it. Everything we have ordered there has been delicious and an excellent value. It's great to have a place that will actually serve a Vindaloo hot. The atmosphere is typical for an Indian restaurant, but that's really how I like it. This restaurant was well worth the trip from London. Every item was excellent and our waiter was very helpful and understanding. The prices are extremely reasonable.
