You gotta know what you're ordering to get the best dishes here. They only speak Chinese, so you have to order slowly in English, or learn a few Cantonese words to order.
This is the best hidden gem in the city, by far the best Hong Kong Style barbecue meat store in the city. Their roasted duck is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Pepper fried pork chops... to die for. Sweet and sour pork... amazing sauce! You just gotta be in the know to get the best dishes here.

I have been ordering from other restaurants and the food and service was best so far. The service was although the best so far, but not the best you can get on busy days. But during Christmas days, the service was the BEST ever, because there was not just one server but 2, the younger, taller one with the better English was a great help; she helped me load the food on to my car, which was a great help for a old me.
The food that I bought was enough for my party (which had over 60 people), and was all that expensive for a group this size.
The place is very clean for a resturant, but a bit too small to fit a large crowd.
Another time where I had to put it on delivery, although there was a 4hour range, the food was still nice and hot, and the chicken was still crispy, just the way I like it.
Overall I would give The Sun BBQ a 5/5 (6/5 if I could) because it's the best anyone can get (especially during Christmas times). I would definitely recommend this to everybody, no matter how big the group or small, there is something for you to enjoy.

This is by far the best place for Suya in Toronto, Ontario. And perphaps the whole of Canada. Excellent customer relations and perfect suya with an authentic Nigerian flavour and the natural palm juice to wash it down. Oh! My husband and I frequently visit for our Friday night date nights and have never had a substandard meal or service experience. We love the fact that we can have a great meal and a couple of drinks at an affordable price without standing in line. If you like to pay inflated prices for cookie cutter microwaved meals and stand in line for the pleasure, this is not the place for you. The staff has been nothing short of pleasant and accomodating at every visit and make it their business to try to remember their customers. Can't wait for the renovations to be complete so we can resume our Friday night date night ritual. We miss our Olly's!! P.S. The smoked meatloaf is awsome.

Hey, so its your standard greasy spoon. Quick service with a open kitchen so you can see whats going on. I work about two blocks away so I eat there probably 2 times weekly on average. I have never been let down. 5.95 for a lunch special that is more than I can eat, although Im sure that some ppl would have little problem ingesting the mountain of food. If you have a party of six and want to eat during dinner house, make a reservation. There are lineups at dinner time with hungry duos and foursomes forming a line that snakes all the way to the cases of steaming ducks, chickens and succulent pigs where you can get fantastic BBQ takeout. I once took a couple of pounds of BBQ pork to a small birthday party, and it was all gone by the time my spouse parked the car. This restaurant provides excellent food at reasonable prices if you order the dinner for 4, or 6, or however many there are in your party. The menu is fixed, but flexible in the choice of appetizers. The meal begins with broth, and appetizers but ends up with so many different dishes that the table groans. The food is fresh and dellcious homestyle Cantonese cooking. The waiters are generally efficient and capable of handling the crowds on weekends. Lots of free parking.
