Ideally located at the foot of Mont Royal, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth connects you to the best of downtown via direct links to the train station, the subway and Underground City. Bold artworks and a rich color scheme give our luxury Montreal hotel a sen
The lobby and surroundings of this hotel are very nice, but look out when you check into your room. Carpets are stained and dirty and very worn. Did not want to walk in my bare feet on it. The bathrooms have definitely not been renovated since the 80's!! Horrible for the price we paid! Will not go back.
I was at this hotel on business for a 3-day seminar with the APA (American Payroll Association) and thought that everything was fantastic. The brunch was provided by the hotel. I really got to interac with others.
I have been very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The room has been emaculate and the bed is really comfortable.
The size of the gym is impressive when comparing it to other Montreal hotels...no lineups for a treadmill!
Dined at the bistro one night and was not overly impressed with the service (took 15 minutes to get our drinks after ordering) and the wait staff was not very friendly. Perhalps just an off-day. The food was okay...standard bistro food. It was tasty, but next time I will defintely venture out into the streets to find a better restaurant.
Just to be clear, the room was well over $100/night...not the dinner!
That was less than $20.
