I went in a short while ago, and fell in love. The service is something very special. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
As for the food.
I had chicken coconut soup, followed by Scallops and risotto.
It was one of the top 3 meals I've ever experienced.
It is a little pricey, but if you feel like treating yourself, or you're trying to impress your date, this is a great little spot.

Our group of 4 attended May 24 2013. Started with one of the best ceasar salads we have had in a long time, huge fabulous prime rib with fresh horseradish and finished with an excellent crepe big enough for 4 to share! The burgers at BBJ are delicious.
Made with fresh, local ingredients, cooked to order.
You can upgrade to premium toppings like goat cheese and portobello mushrooms, melts in your mouth.
The portions are huge definitely a man sized burger. Fries and onion rings too.
I have never seen such huge onion rings before. Beer battered and fantastic.
Price, very reasonable for the sizes you get. I think it was $4.50 a burger to make it a combo it was $6.50.
You pay more at the other “big chain” burger places in town and still feel hungry afterwards.

With only 2 vegetarian items on the menu, and a wedding party in the middle of their meal when we arrived, the odds of a great experience were not high but what a great surprise - two 10 out of 10 mains - a sage, beet risotto and a chickpea/cauliflower curry with roasted vegetables. Gabriel's food is awesome. every time. His quiche is delicious. the marie claire salad is incredible. my friend ordered an omlette, it was the fluffliest looking omlette i've ever seen! i almost wish his portions were smaller so i'd have room for dessert, but i don't ever seem to have room. even though the apple pie looked so tempting and smelled so good. the wait staff are always friendly even when it gets busy. definitely worth a visit. his quiche is the best ever
