I love this place! Their sushi is actually DELICIOUS!!! I'm always full after I go here...in fact, I vomited once from being too full. I love that they have stamp cards!!! So fun!! Their signature 'hockey sushi' is seriously SLAMMIN!!! However, I discovered a fish bone in the sushi once...and upon closer inspection, I found out that the outer layer of the hockey sushi is actually fish skin! This turned me off! I wish I hadn't made that discovery because this roll is fantastic. The location is fairly remote... my GPS was going completely NUTS on the way here. We were happily surprised to see a full chalk board of specials. We are always excited about the specials because the chef there is so talented. They were quite busy but the service was exceptional as usual. This is at least the eleventh time or so we have been there. Breakfast is also really great. My husband is a big eater and he is always satisfied with his meal. The prices are fair, the food is amazing, and the people that work there are great. I have an allergy to gluten and it is so nIce to be able to enjoy a full corse meal at at fair price when we come to this place. I wish the chef could ,prepare food for me at home all the time. Also, the people that work there are super knowledgable about the food they serve. This place is fabulous and everyone should give it a go. Oh and great wine too! Read more

After living in Mississauga for a few years, I always can't wait to be in KW for the Pho Ben Thanh's! Surprised to see reviews about inconsistency, they always exceed my expectations. I'll admit, when they first opened several years ago, some dishes would be made inconsistently, or different than other locations, but that all was resolved quickly. My favourites are Sweet and Sour Tamirand CHicken, Mango salad, Seafood Pad Thai, Grilled Chicken Vermichelli bowl, Pepper beef, Eggplant Chicken, Spring Rolls (Fried and fresh). I like to dine in with a bunch of people so you can order several dishes, and each get your own side of steamed rice to soak up the sauces from each dish. ALways fresh veggies, always great. Better food and selection than any viet-thai restaurant west of Toronto, definately. Oh, and don't forget to order a mango fruit shake, they are divine! Read more

We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. Threw us a bit...but our fault as we didn't check the price first :) Pretty nice wine, though. I have been here twice now. The first time I was served by the owner, Joe. I thought he was very helpful. As it was my first time in I asked him what he would recommend. He asked me a few questions figured out what I was looking for and suggested a few deserts. Today I went in and was served by a very friendly girl. Again I asked for a recommendation as this time I was looking for more then a snack. We had a friendly conversation and I decided to order the club sandwich. Joe the owner served my food to me and again engaged in friendly conversation. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family because on both occasions, though looking for something different each time, I was met with fantastic friendly service by both the employees and management. I visit this location on a regular basis since I live in the area! First time I visited this location, one of the bartenders asked my name, and remembered it the next time i visited! All of the wait staff are super friendly, and funny! This location has a lot of daily features and drink specials which me and my friends enjoy...Food has always been good, and if there is anything ever wrong or not up to my satisfaction the management and staff make sure it is dealt with so I leave satisfied.
