My wife is trying to cure me of the habit of ordering a dish just because I don't know what it is or I have never had it before. More often then not it turns out to be a disappointment. Tonight I ordered the bavette (flank) steak. It was just okay for me as it is a tougher cut of beef, but that's my fault. Everything else we had was really good, my wife thought the Sante Fe chicken was exceptionally good. Overall, a good experience and I want to go back again and try something else. Read more

They started us off with warm dinner rolls - good, but nothing special. All entrees come with all you can eat fries, and they are delicious. Crunchy but not too deep-fried. Our meals also came with perfectly steamed green beans. Three out of four steaks were perfect - one rare, two medium rare. My rare steak was one of the better I've had - it was red through the middle but it was still hot when it got to the table! The fourth steak (medium) was a bit tough. Read more

The food was oh so good! The service was excellent! We really loved our server Cristel, so very polite and pleasant. She even asked to take my coat when we entered the restaurant. We really enjoyed or calamari, just lightly breaded. The salmon with spices and maple syrup was devine. The beef and Portuguese chicken was great! We hit up Arlequino for the 2nd stop on our downtown pizza crawl. The Napoli pizza's crust was very thin with crispy edges and the sauce had a fresh and sweet tomato-y flavour. Arlequino got this pizza right on all accounts making it the highlight of the night. As for the Torino pizza, fried egg whites replaced the sauce on the same thin crust. The truffles and parmesan work very well together, but it just gets too rich. Not your everyday pizza and you certainly feel something is missing. We did enjoy Arlequino's sleek décor, and it did score the best pizza of the night, so we are certainly looking forward to coming back. Read more
