I have never been to a optician that is so disorganized and just plain awful. I am on a limited income with a government medical plan. Once they knew who was paying for these glasses, I was immediately treated like garbage. No pleasant conversation, no offering of frames it was like you can have this pair or that pair. Because the government was paying the advertised deals they had in place did not apply to me. Way to go, treating some of your customers as second class citizens.
This place was terrible. I had one quote and then when time came to pay it was $60 more. After complaining to the President I got my money back. Problems didn't stop there. I've been waiting almost three weeks for glasses and got a call that one pair had an issue. When I asked about the other pair they said it wasn't there. Today, found out my second pair has been ready all along. Or so they say. NEVER EVER AGAIN. OH, and I too had to wait over a half hour for my appointment.
I am writing this review from the waiting chair which I have kept warm for about an hour and 20 minutes now waiting for our appointment. Absolutely appalled by the doctor's lack of planning on her part as she apologizes before taking 3 other people before us. Without insurance were spending over 300 dollars here and to be treated like this is unreal to me. First and Last time they will receive business from our family or anyone we mention this experience to. Thumbs way down.
Their glasses are impossible to wear. They couldn't manage to make wearable lenses for me from two attempts. Their only explanation for this problem is that 'I am not used too the new glasses'. Well, I never got used to them. My eyesight got worse after wearing their glasses. Never go there!
Good prices and selection for people wanting back up glasses. I purchased my main pair of glasses at a boutique downtown but came here for sunglasses and a back up pair. The lense quality isn't that great. Staff wasn't overly concerned with helping find suitable frames and General customer service experience has been subpar. I won't be back.
