Love, love, love this place! Hubby and I had our wedding reception here with approx. 30 pple. We're from out of town and wanted a unique restaurant and not a chain or banquet hall feel. Its off the beaten path so misses all the touristy stuff. The owner's were wonderful and patient answering all my questions and concerns. Come the day of the wedding there was no worries at all. Can honestly say ALL our wedding guests raved about the great meal! To me that is the most memorable moment for guests at a wedding, none were disappointed. We've even had family members call for the name and address so they can go again! Thank you for helping with our wonderful day! Liz and Darren.
The place is small but still has a bit of a modern feel. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and service is quick. My guest and I shared the chef's platter and it was pretty good. The spinach gnocchi with the goat cheese red sauce was so delishious I could eat it everyday. The goat cheese flavour really came through. The chicken wrapped in proscutto was not the greatest, but it wasn't disgusting either. The meat was a little too dry for me. All veg was cooked nicely. Over all, the meal options were creative and the prices were very reasonable.
my large immediate family and I were so pleased with our experience here. We were all here in Niagara Falls to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary and so we wanted the perfect restaurant and were so lucky with this place! We were a little unsure about it based on the outside when we pulled up but what a surprise and delight once we went inside - great atmosphere- the owner or manager took excellent care of us and the food was outstanding! Great mix of italian and steaks!
This is a terrific restaurant just slightly off the beaten path so not 'touristy" like so many others. It's only a couple minute walk from the old Casino (near the Hampton Inn). I would recommend this place to anyone going to the Falls. The atmosphere is very nice (clean, tastefully decorated, slightly upscale look but not pretentious). The owner is very personable and always seems to be on hand. You can tell he takes great pride in his place - it shows. I ordered steak both times I have been here and it was perfect both times- tender and juicy! The menu also has a bit of variety so there is something for everyone (including Fish and Chips for my British Nana). The 4 other people in my party ALL commented on how good their food was! I will definitely be going back next time in the Falls and would certainly recommend this place. Do yourself a favour and try it out. You won't be dissapointed. By the way, the prices are very reasonable. The steak was in the $20s and items like the Fish and Chips are in the $15 range. ADDITIONAL.... I just had a look to see if they have a website.... in fact they have a great website with photos/menu, etc.
