Me and my wife came by for breakfast. I remember back in the day Diamond Grill was a fine restaurant, and then some guys took it over and it wasn't as great, but now that this restaurant is in Jay's hands it's better than ever. Me and wife always leave full and happy. Jay has done a wonderful job.
My co-workers and i decided to go to Diamonds for lunch since we heard that it had improved under it's new owner. The rumors i heard were not lies! The food was fantastic, the size of the wraps are the largest i've seen. My milshake was nice and thick, refreshing on a hot day, and the daily homemade soup was warm and filling. We will all be making Diamonds our daily lunch destination from now on. With great prices, food, and amazing service Diamonds is my best pick for Oshawa dining!
Once a great little hole in the wall restaurant the new owners have run it into the ground. The portions are smaller, once they served only peameal bacon with breakfast now it's extra and the prices all went up. They obviously have no idea what they are doing.
I went to diamonds grill for breakfast with my son i ordered the buffet my son ordered a kids pancakes.well ...the potatoes were undercooked tasted like rubber and that was just the begining! my son had a piece of fruit off my plate he is 4 years old. the waitress came over and appologized to me and said that i would have to pay for 2 buffets because my son had some fruit. i told her that i would like to speak to the manager she told him and i had to pay for two buffets.all in all this new owner is nothing like ive ever seen before! all in all i will never return i will never recomend ever!
My co-worker and I went for breakfast we decided Diamonds Grill we found the food delicious and seemed you pay a little get alot! The young waitress to be so cheerful, the service was GREAT!The restraunt was clean and tidy we will most defanitly be returning in the near future.
