We went there for our anniversary; it was very romantic. The food was absolutely delicious; the service and atmosphere were perfect as well. (And the food came surprisingly fast.) This is our favourite place to go in the Cobourg-Port Hope area.
My husband and I have visited this restaurant about 3 times in the past year and a half. We have been there with other people over the years, but I think this fine restaurant has only improved with time. Great food and service
This is my favorite meal. I visit Port Hope frequently as I used to live there and my family and I always go to railside for dinner. Although the service is kind of slow, and they usually never get the bill right when we have two bills at one table, its the best liver i've ever tasted!
Our fourth visit -New Years Eve we were very pleased with all aspects of our meal and service. The second trip was to the casual section and it was fine. Last week in the dining room we asked if Lemon potatoes were served with the
souvlaki dinner and were told NO, when I expressed disappointment we were rudely told that they could not please everyone. We serve French Fries, Red potatoes and baked. TODAY we were very disappointed - I did try the souvlaki dinner but it's not the same with french fries and what there was of the greek salad was buried under dry rice and fries. My wife had the Gyro on a pita and claims she could not identify the taste of the meat and did not eat it.
