Back in the early 2000s, It’s a Furry Life owner and dog groomer Tammy Lenti wanted to make a difference in the world of dog grooming. “A lot of dog groomers are focused on the numbers and not really connecting with the animals or their owners," she says. "I thought I could do things differently, so I opened up my own shop.”
It’s a Furry Life opened in 2003 with a focus on customer service. Tammy and her staff strive to treat each customer and dog with the proper care and attention needed to do their job properly. “It’s a matter of taking that extra 10 or 15 minutes to really talk and get to know our clients,” she says. “It creates a bond between all of us, but it ensures our clients get the best dog grooming services possible, because we know who they are and what they want.”
